On September 26, 2002, a Notice of Violation was issued for a Severity Level III violation involving the failure to secure from unauthorized removal or limit access to licensed material (50 millicuries of americium-241 in a portable moisture gauging device) and the failure to control and maintain constant surveillance of this licensed material.
